Market Withdrawal
A firm's removal or correction of a distributed device for no violation, or for a minor violation the FDA would not take legal action on. Normal stock rotation is an example. A market withdrawal is not a recall.
Avoid This Mistake
A market withdrawal is exempt from the Part 806 reporting requirement, but Part 806 still requires records of all corrections and removals.
