What this site collects, and how to control it

Who this policy covers

This policy is for Vellum Strategy Group, a sole proprietorship providing regulatory and quality strategy advisory services to medical device manufacturers. Any reference to "we," "us," or "the site" means Vellum Strategy Group. Questions about this policy or a request covered by it go to info@vellumstrategygroup.com.

What we collect

This site does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers. The only information collected is what a visitor provides directly, through one of two forms:

• • The contact form (name, email, organization, phone, a message, and the topic selected) when a consultation, resource, diagnostic follow-up, or partnership inquiry is submitted.
• • The update signups (name and email only) on the Industry Trends and Regulatory Blueprint pages, for visitors who choose to be notified when new analysis is published.

How it is used

Contact form submissions are used to respond to the inquiry, send a requested resource or diagnostic follow-up, and keep a record of the conversation. Update signups are used only to send the specific update a visitor opted into, industry trends analysis, Regulatory Blueprint articles, or both if signed up for both, at roughly a quarterly and per-article cadence respectively. Neither is used for any purpose beyond what was requested, and neither is sold or rented to a third party.

Who this information is shared with

A small number of service providers process this information on our behalf, each for a specific purpose:

• • HubSpot, a customer relationship management platform, keeps a record of contact form inquiries so past conversations aren’t lost.
• • Resend, an email delivery service, sends auto-reply confirmations, requested resources, and the update emails a visitor opts into.
• • Cloudflare hosts the site and processes form submissions in transit.
• • Slack receives an internal notification when a form is submitted, for our own awareness. This is an internal tool, not a party the information is disclosed to.

None of these providers may use this information for their own marketing purposes. We do not otherwise sell, rent, or trade personal information.

How long it is kept

Contact form records are kept as long as useful to the underlying business relationship or inquiry. Update signups are kept until the subscriber unsubscribes or requests removal.

Your choices

Every update email includes an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. To unsubscribe from an update list, request a copy of what is on file, or ask that any of this information be deleted, email info@vellumstrategygroup.com. Requests are handled personally and confirmed once complete.

Children

This site is intended for business professionals in the medical device industry and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change with it. Material changes affecting how update-list information is used will be noted directly to current subscribers.
