Serious Incident
Any incident that directly or indirectly led, might have led, or might lead to one of three outcomes. The outcomes are death, a serious deterioration in health, and a serious public health threat.
Avoid This Mistake
Expected side-effects that are clearly documented in the product information and quantified in the technical documentation are not reported as serious incidents. They go to trend reporting under Article 88.
